“Thief with Wings” Typewritten Poem Print Poster

I had this silly thought of a pigeon stealing a jar of peanut butter and wanted to write a poem out of it. It sat partially finished in my notebook for months. I kept thinking of it and the funny pigeon I could draw for it, so I finally finished it and couldn’t be happier! I hope it adds some humor to your every day. Imagine framing this in your house and your guests stumble across it!

Originally written with the ‘Super Grande’ font wheel on a lavender purple typewriter from 1984.

Note: I sometimes make little mistakes when typewriting. I have intentionally left these flubs in my prints, in order to show the human side of imperfection in my art and writing. I feel it makes things more personal.
